Detailed Syllabus

Strategic Preparation Plan

  1. Phase 1: Concept Foundation

Build core skills across sections. For IPMAT Indore, add short answer (SA) practice early.

    • QA: Percentages, Ratio–Proportion, Averages, TSD, Time & Work; 20–30 questions/day.
    • VA/RC: 30–45 mins of reading + 15 vocab items/day; parajumbles & cloze basics.
    • LR/CR (Rohtak/JIPMAT): arrangements, series, coding–decoding; 2–3 easy sets/day.
  2. Phase 2: Sectional Drills & Application

Shift to timed topic tests and mixed sets; start tracking accuracy & speed.

    • QA: algebra, P&C, probability, geometry/mensuration; add 3 SA questions/day (Indore).
    • VA/RC: 2 RCs/day (12–16 Qs); para-summary & error-spotting on alternate days.
    • LR/CR: 2 sets/day (arrangements/venn/series); 1 data-interpretation set (JIPMAT).
  3. Phase 3: Mocks, Analysis & Fixes

Take full-length mocks twice a week (match Indore/Rohtak/JIPMAT patterns). Deep-dive analysis is non-negotiable.

    • Maintain a mistake log (concept, trap, time-management). Revisit within 48 hours.
    • Re-solve only the wrong/left questions under a 60–70% time budget.
    • Sectional focus: hit sectional cut-offs reliably before chasing higher scores.
  4. Phase 4: Final Sprint

Consolidate; protect strengths; plug last-mile gaps; simulate exam time-slots.

    • QA: formula sheet & geometry facts; 2 mixed sets/day; daily SA drill (Indore).
    • VA/RC: 1–2 RCs/day + para-summary/para-jumbles; light vocab review.
    • LR/CR/DI: 1–2 sets/day; revisit high-yield puzzle types.
    • 2–3 mocks total this phase; taper volume in last 3–4 days and sleep well.

Time Strategy

First pass = easy wins; second pass = moderate; park time-sinks for the end.

Accuracy > Attempts

Protect accuracy to avoid −1; guess only when elimination ≥50%.

Sectional Cut-offs

Always clear each section first; only then push overall score.
